That blogosphere thing

Ok, enough of this. We finally managed to put our own blogging platform online and I am moving !

I hardly find the time to blogg these days. Very sorry about that.

I constantly face myself with the interview of Loic Le Meur , who, in this pretty interesting interview
spoke of "outsourcing yourself", which I find to be an extremely interesting topic.
However, I am quite hesitant the last couple of days to indeed share my progress regarding our new blogging platform and the insights I receive here and there. I recall Loic not saying too much ahead of time before SixApart bought LiveJournal, did he :-)) ?


Plus, I can´t wait to move my blog to our own blog site, once she is online ! :-)


Anyway - I´ll be trying to make it to the Guerilla Marketing Kongress in Cologne on March 11. The organisers claim that bloggers who will link to their site will receive a VIP entry. I am quite curious to see whether that turns out to be true. A nice bunch of active webloggers seems to trying to attempt, so I´ll try to bother them with my presence as well.

Her hunger for livejournal was unstoppable, it seems ....... - GULP - !

I am curios to see whether the price tag will ever surface in the blogosphere somewhere.

I am back in Portugal to celebrate xmas with the family.
Nice to have some sun again, after all those cloudy, rainy, gray days in Berlin. The Algarve is nice and warm and quiet :-)



So I took to Porto for a day, where I was fortunate enough to meet Manuel Costa. The man knows his wine :-) The poor fellow had to go through watching me down a "Super Bock" (the beer to drink in northern Portugal) before we ventured into the winenosphere. "Wein auf Bier, das lob´ich mir !"... what can I say - it´s the German in me that obviously surfaced :-))

Didn´t see too much of Porto, but all the nice little alleys where worth the stroll..

Lovely Xberg (Berlin) it is when you meet the unexpected. Dr.Motte, founder of the Love Parade found himself zipping a cappuccino with the two blognuts that try nothing less than becoming Germanies´ largest Blogprovider :-) by end of 2005. Not easy. But hey. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, eh ?

Anyway - I don´t think he was too impressed .. :-)))

So,

ein paar süße Domains haben wir jetzt, jetzt müssen wir mal sehen, das wir das Baby zum Laufen bekommen.

Loic ist gut unterwegs in F mit einem Panel für franz. Journalisten, dass er wohl organisiert. Die Franzosen werden es wahrscheinlich nicht schwer haben, die deutsche Blogginglethargie zu überwinden.

Mal sehen, was wir daran ändern können :-))

Why does one need platforms like blogger or blogg in the future ?

Isn´t there going to be software available for download sooner or later which will enable me to blogg (like an html editor) and turn my pc into a server ?

Who needs those sites in the future ?

Interesting world, this blogosphere thing.

I have the feeling it is going to go far.

And, I feel like playing around a little. Set up some blogging service.

Maybe a big one. At least try. Give this whole blogging-phenomena some more momentum. I´ll start in Germany. I know those Krauts, I am one myself. They like to read, they will write. They just need some more time, they are a cautious bunch what regards new things. They don´t know how to blogg yet.

We´ll - neither do I, really. Which may be a good start.

But how does one make money with blogs ? Premium services ? Not really...

Advertising maybe ?
